Judith Carducci, long time ASA member and patron, has
been steadily gaining international attention for her portrait work
with pastels. This summer, Akron Life and Leisure Magazine has
recognized her fine work by honoring her as their 2007 "Artist
of the Year."
Along with the award, the magazine is hosting a solo
show for Judy at the Mocha Maiden Gallery in Akron's Historic District
from June 11-23, and a "meet the
artist" reception Friday, June 15 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. This reception
is free and open to the public. The Mocha Maiden Gallery is located
on Maiden Lane, which runs north off Market Street just
east of Main Street (behind the
Everett Building in Akron’s Historic District). Meet Judith,
view her work and enjoy entertainment by classical guitarists James
Kalal and Sylvia Vidova. To R.S.V.P. or for more information, call
